1. Can users delete administrator files?
No, users do not have the ability to delete administrator files. This permission system keeps users from inadvertently deleting important files.
2. Can user accounts delete their own files?
Yes, user accounts do have the ability to delete files unless the administrator has set the permissions to keep the file from being deleted.
3. Can administrators delete a user's files without their permission?
Yes. Administrators have complete control over all files uploaded to the server.
4. If I sign up for the Personal package with 5 user accounts, does the administrator count as one account?
No. Only user accounts set up by the administrator count towards your limit.
5. Can other user account members see each another member's files?
When an administrator uploads a file, he/she can control which user accounts see the file.
6. I cannot create any new user accounts?
You have reached the maximum amount of user accounts you can create with your package. You can upgrade to a different plan or delete a user account you no longer use.
7. Neither my user nor I can upload a file.
Most often, this results from the total utilization of your allotted disk space. If this is the case, you can upgrade to another plan or delete any of the files currently not in use.
8. How do I know how much disk space I have remaining?
Upon login, the administrator dashboard shows up-to-date statistics of disk usage and space remaining. If you wish to upgrade your plan, you may do so by clicking the "Administrative Profile" link.
9. Will the administrator or user be notified when files are deleted?
No. Emails are only sent when files are uploaded to the server and not when they are deleted.
10. What do I do to cancel my subscription?
Please send an account cancellation request, including your administrative username and password to sales@cdkweb.com. A link will be sent to the email address listed on your profile to confirm your cancellation. View our User Agreement for more information.
